Tamara S. Casillas FNP-C

Tamara is a nationally certified Family Nurse Practitioner who has continued to provide dermatologic care since 2001. She joined East Valley Dermatology Center in 2008 and provides patient care for all skin conditions including full body skin exams, skin cancer detection and treatment, acne treatment and management, rash, nail and hair disorders. Tamara moved from Michigan to Arizona in 1969, where she later attended Arizona State University earning her bachelor of science in nursing in 1985 and later graduated with a Master of Science in Nursing in 1996. As an active member of the American Academy of Nurse Practitioners and the Society of Dermatology Physician Assistants, Tamara is able to stay connected with professional networking within the field of dermatology. She also has special interests in cosmetic facial sculpting with fillers including Botox, Juvederm, Voluma and Kybella. It is important for Tamara to make her patients feel good in their own skin.

Outside of work, Tamara enjoys hobbies that include boating, camping, motorcycling, west coast swing dancing, organic gardening and spending time with her two sons, while taking care of her dog and cat.
